Year 6

Year 6 are taught by Mrs Reeves and Miss Bell, who are supported by Mrs Sloan & Mrs Wilkins.  In year 6 we work in different groups for different lessons so we get taught by all the teachers!

In year 6 we like our learning to be active and we enjoy doing drama activities in the literacy, making cakes and weighing ingredients in Numeracy and making crystals in science.

We are lucky in year 6 to work with lots of different people.  We have been working with Coventry Blaze Ice Hockey team this term to learn how to play ice hockey which has been great fun!  We also go to Lyng Hall to have science lessons in their laboratory which helps us to prepare for secondary school.

This year we are also working with a Creative Consultant funded through Creative Partnerships  to improve the year 6 curriculum.  We hope to make it more creative and encourage the children to become enthusiastic, independent learners.
